This privacy policy applies to the BellCoach iOS application developed by Smart Idea Agency. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how data is used.

1. Data We Collect

The app collects minimal data necessary to provide the AI Coach feature:

Sent to AI service

Workout parameters

Rounds, session duration, exercise types, fitness goals, session preferences, and the app language setting. This data is used exclusively to generate your personalized training program.

2. Data We Never Collect

Never collected

Your name, email address, or any personal identity
Health data or heart rate measurements
Your location or GPS data
Device identifiers beyond what is required for app access codes
Browsing history or usage analytics

3. Third-Party AI Service — OpenAI

The AI Coach feature sends your workout parameters to the OpenAI GPT-4o API to generate personalized training sessions. This is a third-party service operated by OpenAI, LLC.

Before any data is sent to OpenAI, the app explicitly asks for your consent through a dedicated consent screen. You may decline at any time. OpenAI applies its own privacy policy, available at: openai.com/privacy

Data sent to OpenAI is used solely to generate your training program and is not used to identify you personally.

4. User Consent

The app displays a mandatory consent screen before activating the AI Coach. This screen discloses:

Exactly what data will be sent
Who the data is sent to (OpenAI GPT-4o)
That you can decline without losing access to other app features

Consent is stored per user session. If a new user logs in with a different access code, the consent screen is shown again.

5. Data Retention

We do not store your workout parameters on our servers. Data sent to OpenAI is processed in real time to generate your session and is subject to OpenAI's data retention policy.

6. Access Codes

The app uses access codes to authenticate users. These codes are stored locally on your device and verified against our secure database. No personal information is required to obtain or use an access code.

7. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Withdraw your AI Coach consent at any time in the app settings
Request information about data processed on your behalf
Contact us to exercise any applicable data protection rights
